Combination therapy and its effects
Combination therapy is the simultaneous application of ultrasound and contact electrotherapy. It is currently the most effective method of physical therapy in locating and treating trigger points. It can objectify these reflex changes and their disappearance after manual, often very distant intervention.
The main effects of combination therapy
The main effects include a special myorelaxation effect, targeting the most sensitive fibres below the site of application. We adjust the parameters of the therapy according to whether we are going to treat a superficial or deep muscle of the body. We apply 1 minute on each trigger point. We adjust the number of sessions according to the body's response to the therapy, mostly 2 to 6 times.
