In the outpatient pediatric orthopedics clinic at our clinic, we focus on the basic diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders in children and adolescents, as well as screening and orthopedic examination of the hip joints in newborns (4th week, 4th month). We pay attention to the following diagnoses:

• Painful musculoskeletal conditions such as post-traumatic conditions and inflammatory processes of the musculoskeletal system, long-term joint pain and swelling as well as growths or other palpable formations on the bones

• Examination of the flatfoot on a podoscope

• Axial deformities of the spine related to faulty posture (muscular imbalances - upper and lower crossed syndrome), scoliosis (sideways curvature of the spine) or kyphosis (backward curvature of the spine), M. Schuermann
• Gait disturbances such as limping, toeing, rotational deviations of the lower limbs - toes inward (in - toeing), outward (out - toeing) or axial deviations of the lower limbs knees pointing inward (genua vara), pointing outward (genua valga)
• Shortening of the lower limbs and their treatment by correction
• Selected congenital deformities of the upper and lower limbs
