Neurology is the science of the nervous system and neurological diseases, a branch of medicine concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the nervous system, associated with disturbances of movement and sensation, and with impaired functions of the sensory and internal organs. It also covers certain diseases of the muscles and endocrine glands when they present with neurological symptoms, as well as some functional disorders of the central nervous system. Neurology is a relatively young, extensive, and continually developing field. It is closely related to other specialties, especially internal medicine, psychiatry, and endocrinology.
The Spinal Patient
Degenerative diseases of the spine represent a significant health issue in the population. This trend is gradually intensifying due to lifestyle changes, work patterns, reduced physical activity, and obesity. Spinal conditions are increasingly affecting younger age groups and pose a substantial socioeconomic burden on society.
Diagnosing spinal disorders is complex and requires multidisciplinary management: neurologist, orthopedic surgeon, rehabilitation physician, physiotherapist, pain specialist (algologist), and psychologist.
Our specialists provide: neurological examinations, assessment of MRI/X-ray/CT findings, planning of conservative treatment and rehabilitation. Our outpatient clinic is not contracted with health insurance companies. All procedures, medications, and physician-recommended tests such as MRI, CT, and X-ray are self-paid by the patient.
